Co-Founder Hospitality Passion
Maike grows up in Mallorca and begins an international business & economics degree at the American College in Schwäbisch Gmünd. Maike then studied at the IMK in Berlin with a focus on marketing and communication. The travel behavior of Germans and the Mallorcan travel market as well as the FincaHotel project as a brand were used for the thesis. In the same year they become self-employed and the joint heart project opens. Now the time is right for a new heart project.
Daniel completed his IHK training as a hotel manager at the Berlin Hilton. He then does a 2-year management trainee program at the London Hilton, where he built up a management knowledge at a young age. This is followed by positions in the Hotel Arts in Barcelona (Ritz-Carlton) in the Hyatt in Mainz, the opening of the Royal Dorint Mallorca and other exciting leadership roles in exclusive private companies. In 2005 Daniel and his wife Maike set up their own business and together they open the FincaHotel Can Coll on Mallorca, which they sold in October 2022.
